Sign On The X (SOX)

Every time i did a signing for them I was sorry! i kept raising my prices so they wouldn't call but call they did. The last time they owed me $100. for six mo. I did get paid after i faxed them my invoice 100 times one morning. Once for each dollar they owed me ( think their fax machine was tied up for a while). That very day they called to say my check was in the mail and guess what..... it was. They had the nerve to call the next day to offer me work. They have never called back. Everyone should say no to them and maybe they would go away

"Everyone should say no to them and maybe they would go away"

And yet you kept doing signings for them, even though you were sorry each time you did one. Instead of raising your prices why didn't you simply say "HELL NO!"?

I just love when people give us advice that they couldn't even be bothered to follow themselves.

I only did three or four signings for them and never did one if they owed me $. I like to think good of people and this all happened when i was just getting started. I wasn't giving you advice; just telling my story.

Still waiting to be paid. After 2 years. They keep passing me up and sending me to someone else in the company stating more excuses. I'm surprised to see that their in business asking notaries to do work for them. I am turned them into the BBB and SOX stated they paid me and owe nothing to me...NOTHING ISN'T CORRECT...THEY OWE ME ABOUT $600. STILL.
Any one have answers to get my money? I have a 2 year old son to care for and bills to pay just like everyone else.

Angelique, I'm a little curious

with $600 owed to you, and their claim that you've been paid, why haven't you requested copies of the canceled checks from them? And if you're sure you haven't been paid, why have you not sued them? If you can prove they owe you the money, file in Small Claims Court or whatever is available to you in CA...but don't wait until the statute of limitations runs out and you have NO recourse through the courts!!...

Sorry, JMO... I'm not independently wealthy and have a problem letting $100 - $125 slide...how anyone can let $600 slide is beyond my comprehension...

I hope they picked up that toll charge for each time you faxed them. I don't know that i'd want to keep hitting re-dial and send 100 times myself. I'm not aware on a manual fax maching that there is an option of send 100 times but what do I know? Only other way I could see that effort being easy would be if it were e-fax. Glad you got paid. Smile And I am not at all shocked they are still in business. There is always that unknowing person out there. Here in South Florida we have alot of these consumer tid bits on the news, Help me Howard, Shame on you, Carmel on the case, etc. They recieve info on companies and trash them pubically on the news. I'm sure in the area that SOX is in, there is one of those shows. Worth looking into.
