Swiftview & Vista problem
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I have Windows Vista and I cannot open Swiftview files. I've talked to tech support at Swiftview several times. Their suggestion is to isabled spyware and other security programs (and then turned them back on afterwards loading docs). I still can't load docs. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

Seems like I had that problem. 2 things to try: 1, Download the package again but save it to the desktop, so you can easily find it. Then right click it and choose Open With. Pick swiftview viewer to open it, then print it.
2. Update your copy of swiftview.

Also, try opening it with DTView instead
Works much more consistently for me than Swiftview. I have it on my resource page:

Re: What type of spyware do you use....
Also are you logged in as the administrator or the guest account?

Yes, I had the same problem with Vista. The Swiftview technician had me to: 1. Go to Tools 2. Internet Options 3. Security 4. Uncheck -Enable Protected Mode. Then download to desktop. So when I receive Swiftview docs, I just take off the protected mode and put it back on when I'm finish. It works for me. I hope this helps you as well.

Do you have to restart your pc before and after unchecking Enable Protected Mode? I was given different instructions to do the same thing and told to not go to any other websites or do anything else until I put back "Enable Protected Mode". That is a real localized pain!
I was told to go to Control, find "User Account", click to open, then uncheck to turn off/on. I'm so used to doing other things while I print docs that I felt like I had one hand tied behind my back! Your way sounds easier.
