Web page for Assisted Living notary service
I have a page on my website advertising my notary services to assisted living communties. It enabled a woman to find me.
I got a call from someone last week who said she saw my page, and she passed the information on to someone else.
That person called me today and made an appointment. She wants me to notarize a document for her father. She assured me that he is very "with it" and that he has current ID. She had no problem with the amount that I charge for travel fee.
Bottom line: I'm reading on this board that notaries are seeing a slowdown in business. There is still the traditional notary public work that is a good stream of income. Set up a special page on your website to make it easy for people to find you.
If you want some ideas, you can find the page on my website by doing a search on 'assisted living' (The search bar is on the home page and very easy to use.). I think it's in good taste.
Good luck.

You're right, it is in good taste
Although the sign of two elderly people using a cane made me chuckle. (smile). Good stuff and information. I get a lot of these calls as well but I should tailor my website to reflect this. Received a call this time yesterday to do a seller's package and had to refer it to another notary in my network due to schedule conflicts.
Thanks, Leon.
