how do you assure you get paid?

I have tried getting companies I am leary of to put my name on the HUD to assure i am paid (if I cannot find any info on the company). What other sure fire methods have you all tried. I know paypal has been mentioned, but how is this done exactly. I have only used pay pal when I buy on ebay.

I take Luca Brasi with me. He holds a gun to their head.

I tell them, 'either your brains or your signature will be on that check.'

Works every time. Smile

When you log in to your PayPal account, click on the Request Money tab. There you'll enter the recipient's email, amount your requesting, type, what you want the recipient to see on the email's subject line and notes, if you want to add any. Then, PayPal will send an email to the recipient and instructions on how to send their payment. Once you receive payment, PayPal will notify you and take 3% + .30 (I think) off the amount. You can then make a withdrawal if you want. Hope this helps.

Think I might attach that to my emails prior to the final email I send out requesting payment on delinquent accounts. Show them I have a sense of humor before I sent the last letter. LOL

put my name on the HUD to assure i am paid

Keep in mind that SS don't have the ability to have your name put on the HUD, which is prepared by the TC. Oftentimes the SS is not even put on the HUD.
Many TC's I work with do put my name on the HUD, but in that instance you must bear in mind, that if the loan doesn't close, you more than likely won't be paid.

Re: put my name on the HUD to assure i am paid

Some signing agencies will contact title and separate your fee and their fee and put them on the HUD so you are paid directly from title.

I require that on a couple of slow paying companies. That is the only way I will work with them because of their track record.
They get paid at closing and I get paid at closing..title sends the checks to both of us. True if the loan rescinds you may not get paid, but I would rather do that than risk not getting paid from the signing company.
