About expenses...the price of oil

is down today by $3.99 a bbl....from the high of $147 a bbl it is now at $121 or a decrease of 17.68%. If gasoline were to go down from it's average high of $4.09 by 17.68% we would be paying $3.36 a gallon right now. Where's the difference going? (he said with tongue in cheek)

Yesterday in Missouri, I found gas at $3.49 per gallon. So it seems that gas prices are coming down - hope it keeps going that way!

Makes me want to drive to Mo. just to fill up!

j/k

NaNa

$3.84 over the weekend here.

I hear in other parts of Texas it's much lower.

$4.45 for regular here. Doesn't help that the 101 freeway runs right through the middle of town. Every summer our prices are equal to San Francisco prices. Filled up near Sacramento last Sunday at $4.07 at Costco.

I can't remember the last time I saw anything under $4 a gallon. It's $4.17 by me right now.

have you tried the Safeway Grace?

They keep pushing their prices at the Safeway out here but I can't see driving almost an hour to save a few pennies Smile

That is the price at Safeway as of yesterday, Unocal and Chevron is 10 cents more.

Re: have you tried the Safeway Grace?

I just read the end of your post. I was in Sacramento last Sunday coming back from Tahoe. I won't even drive to Ukiah for 10 cent cheaper gas. Cost more to drive there than what you save per gallon.

Saw it in 1998. Went to the top. Nearly died of heart failure before I got back down that little torture chamber trolley.
