Unfortunately, I appear to be getting the run around from someone I would have (until this situation) recommended to others. 2 invoices outstanding - March and April. Initially no response to my e-mail. In a phone call I made a day or so later, Maria said they are having financial problems and that a check would be sent that week. A week or so later I received an e-mail stating the check would be sent July 30. As of yet no check ...

Call the title company...
...that worked for me and I received a check from Brooks Closing within a week. I don't know if it cleared yet, but, I did receive it. If you still have the email with the PDF file, check the HUD to find out who the title company was. I now keep emails with the confirmation and document attachments in a closed signing folder until I get paid, for just that reason.

Yesterday I received payment in full for both loans via UPS.
I run my business a different way than many on these boards appear to run theirs - I would work for this company again with no concerns.
