DEED EXCHANGE?

DO YOU NEED TO BE LICENSE TITLE PRODUCER TO DO THIS TYPE OF SIGNING? ANYONE WITH THIS INFORMATION COULD ANSWER.

Is or could title insurance be issued as part of the transaction? If so, a title producer would be required, unless you are only going to charge the statutory fee ($2) per notarization, and do nothing other than notarizing.

I do them for time share properties and it usually only has

one notarization. I might be talking about another scenario, and I know Louisiana is very different but I have done them several times here.

In Maryland the key is title insurance. I've never bought a timeshare so I do not know, but if title insurance is or could be bought to insure the transaction I believe that it falls under the scope of Insurance Article 10-101(i) requiring a title producer. Unless it falls under the exception of just receiving statutory fees (and statutory travel fees if applicable) and no other services provided.

This is what i have so far, I got the package:

1. Authorization from Owners (Time Share Exchange transaction) to the Escrow company to transfer the deed of trust in Clark County, NV. Signature of Owners Required

2. Grant, Bargain, and Sale of Deed (Deed Back) Acknowledged Marital status, and sex (Signture required) by both owners

3. Grantor signatures to exchanged the deed to the company. (Notarial Acknowlegment signature and seal).

4. Exibit A & B (Stated all related to transactions. List of Timeshare interests owned answer yes/no questions

5. Completion of Agreement - Limited Power of Attorney Notarial Acknowlegment with seal and signature.
6. Owner's Acknowledgement and Understanding (Initialed by owner's)

This is all I got there are like 11 pages 2 notarial signatures required in the request. Do you think i can do this?
