Title companies I deal with issue a GF# on each file they open a title commitment for.
When you are dealing with them it is most effective if you have their GF# handy. It's likely that notaries don't run into utilizing the GF# b/c they don't often see the title commitment.

If it is a Ditech/GMAC loan, it is the loan number that has to go on that affidavit
