Help on a Deed of trust from TX
Before me (my name) on this day personally appeared (Borrowers name) known to me or proved to me on oath of ----------------------- or through ----------------- to be the person whose name is subscribed to the forgoing instrument and accknowledged to me
OK since I am in OK I'm a little dense on what goes into the blanks. Can a true Texan respond and let me know. This is an investment property so all has to be faxed back so the earliest possible response is appreciated. Thank you.

Line through this part: >>on oath of ----------------------- or <<
then, where it says: >> through __TYPE OF IDENTIFICATION___<<
I would put >>__valid Texas Driver License__ <<
or
>>__valid U.S. Passport__ <<
I'm waiting on the coffee. Hope this makes sense.

Interesting. Now I'm curious about the wording...
What DO they mean by "on oath of ________"? When/why would that be used?

Yep...witnesses.
I think we say that someone "introduces" the signer...or we have personal knowledge. Not checking the handbook...but LOL...don't think there's the word "credible" in there.

I think it is usually "oath of affirmation", but I don't know Texas notary laws.
