Is this good quality paper?

I have always used Office Max's brand of laser paper. ( 96/108 brightness, 24 lb. weight) Just stopped in to purchase more paper to restock, and found out they no longer carry the legal paper; just letter. I was told by a clerk that their multi-purpose (doesn't say laser on packet) paper (96/108 brightness, 20 lb. weight) would be comparable. I bought it, but am now having second thoughts about the quality of this paper, in comparision, as to what I used to buy. Is there going to be a noticable difference between 20 lb. weight and 24 lb. weight? I haven't opened anything, yet, and was wondering if I should return it?

I have been using only 20#/92 brightness. It works fine for laser printing. I purchase all my paper through Costco, Sam's or Quill (by the case). Some are ordering from Fedex Office Supplies, but HP papers haven't worked well for me (curl & jam in printer). Hope this helps.

I ordered from FedEx last time, too, and received Xerox paper, not HP. Works just the same as what I used to buy from Costco.

Most printers prefer 20 lb. paper. n/m
