L I A Signing
Does anyone know anything about this company? I did a Washington Mutual Loan Mod. for them in March, 2008.
It was to pay $25.00 but I can tell you that it paid nothing.
What is it with these companies?
The only reason I accepted it for this is it was just a couple of blocks from my home and on the way to another closing.

They're out of business. Scroll back a couple of days and you'll find some conversations about LIA.

Ya I think they did send me something saying they were filing bankruptcy and going out of business and you had to contact their lawyer (or something like that)

Hello. I work for LSI and we used to use LIA for lots of closings and we let them go for not paying agents. I see in this chain that they are senidng out notifications of bankruptcy. If anybody has a copy of it can you let me know. They have been unresponsive to our communication trying to get an answer of wether they plan on paying agents for the work they did for us.

The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, collects complaints about companies, business practices, identity theft, and episodes of violence in the media.
Why: Your complaints can help us detect patterns of wrong-doing, and lead to investigations and prosecutions. The FTC enters all complaints it receives into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database that is used by thousands of civil and criminal law enforcement authorities worldwide. The FTC does not resolve individual consumer complaints.
File a complaint online with the FTC (http://www.ftc.gov). They doing business across state lines, using both phone and website to transact business nationwide. Federal statutes prohibit such fraudulate activities, procuring services with no intent to pay.
