Jack, there's your SS problem!
I can why you hate SSs if you have a membership with NNA.
The only calls I got from that site back in the day I had a membership there were low-paying signing services.
Dude. Get real.

That's surprising! People mention the "big three",
but I see them as the fourth. I'm getting work from all four, but NotRot and java are my majority of calls.

I never get any work off this site im just sayin i saw this and the NNA knows whats going on in business and it's going to esignings but they are going to take more time you know Borrowers and computers dont mix good..Time Time plus the monthly cost of aircard.and notebook. What make me mad is signing companies want to pay very little for this serv and charge alot so they make most of the money and they dont take on no extra cost to them they dont care about You how long or how much money it takes on your part..They want you to work for free.

NNA
Jack, years ago using NNA to find signing agents was not a great thing, almost always had problems. But these days its much better and actually we have had NO problems when we have to use this site to find someone not in our data base.
Its a very good that we can go there to check out those ready and capable for esignings. I have mentioned this option to Harrys office as well.
So far AmTrust and our clients are not offering more money for an e-signing yet. Same fee as e-docs. Don't blame the SS. Am-Trust is telling their brokers if they dont use e-signings when available, they will be charged $250.00 per loan This is a good incentive to pay more, but so far its not trickling downward.

Employees except what the job "offers". Business owners "charge"........
As long as NSA's follow this mentality, the industry will dictate our fees, not us and we will constantly be at the mercy of lowballers.

Worth repeating--even if it becomes ad nauseum....
Employees acccept what the job "offers". Business owners "charge"........

Interesting! From this, it sounds to me like the esignings cost them less or they wouldn't have such a strong disincentive to the brokers. Yet it unquestionably costs us more. Wouldn't it be nice if they (and the SS's, whose expenses are not affected by this) passed on even a little bit of their savings to us to make it worth it at our end to take on these signings?
I'm another one with laptop, ready and willing to get an aircard the minute it proves financially justifiable. But I have no interest in increasing my monthly costs without a corresponding increase in revenue. Just doesn't make good business sense.
Why should we reduce our profit margins so that they can increase theirs? Where's OUR incentive to get on board with this??

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't updated my profile in a while. Like it or not, being e-sign ready is a choice. Amtrust is exerting a lot of pressure in the industry. I've done one, and didn't use my own equipment. I know the controversy is about the extra expense to us without extra compensation. Again, we need to negotiate and command (not demand) fees that cover our expenses. Since there is a "penalty" for brokers/tc's not doing e-sign, they are in a position to pay a decent fee.

E-Signings
Do you really think that this is going to catch on? I have done one e-signing, using the borrowers' laptop with them and me (3 of us) standing/sitting around it at their kitchen island. It took a long time and I wasn't paid any more.
At this point, I won't do another. If it really becomes the way of doing closings, I guess that I willl have to climb on board, but, at this point it is not worth the trouble.
