One of my title companies are getting BUSY!!
Hey, people, thought I would post a message to everyone to let you know that looks like we will start getting busy again!!! One of title companies here in Texas is VERY busy today! Keep your phones in your pockets...ready to take calls!
Its been A LONG time since we got busy!
I am just being positive that if one title company is starting to get real busy....then other title companies should start getting busy too!

I was feeling good about the month until I knew it was the big push for the 15th fund date. Last signing was Monday and only 2 scheduled for the rest of the week.
Have to say this month is better then July so far, doing this PT now works out well so far.

Lots of REO's, Short Sales, and Foreclosures going on here right now. It takes sooooo long for these deals to come to the table....and my phone is blowing up with these purchases! I am happy and I will take it for now- take what you can get!!!!! All are paying really good fees too

I have not had any for $1.00 but the lowest I have had
is $11K for the contract sale price and the buyer got back a check at close for around $6K due to all sorts of damage ( like all the copper pipes stripped out of the house and furnance and hot water heater gone) that the seller (bank) agreed to. I have been seeing a lot between $12K and $25K....and I just did a purchase in a southern surburb for a 3 year old 2500sqft. house with a finished basement for $125K that 3 years ago the builder was listing them for $275K and up....and the sad thing is that the real appraisal is only for $145K now. I just cant believe how hard some areas have fallen here. It is really sad! Cant remember the source but aparantly there is a shortage of moving trucks and trailers; all rented for 1 way use.

Re: for $1.00 --- the problem may be with....
There may end up being a problem for the new buyers -- since MI has a screwy way of evaluation of property taxes, the buyer will more than likely be paying Property Taxes for what the home was worth prior to the very low purchase price.
Something really has to change in MI in regards to Property Taxes, & the evaluations. '
