What I did...
was to forward the e-mail containing all the docs including the title co. info back to Daniel. At the top of the e-mail I asked him if I needed to contact -insert names- at the e-mail addresses listed at the title company. He promptly replied that my check had been sent to the wrong notary, but it's been corrected. I received my check a week after that.
Looking over the comments on the profile page shows a lot of 'lost in the mail' excuses. Shuck & Jive artist, you have to keep on him and every e-mail went out to more & more addresses for him to see that I'm not playing around. Getting a full fee from him is not worth the hassle to collect.
