You call Matt Tell him you are going to report hom to the IRS see how fast he will cut you a check. How Do You Report Suspected Tax Fraud Activity?
If you suspect or know of an individual or company that is not complying with the tax laws, you may report this activity by completing Form 3949-A. You may fill out Form 3949-A online, print it and mail it to:
Internal Revenue Service Fresno, CA 93888
If you do not wish to use Form 3949-A, you may send a letter to the address above. Please include the following information, if available:
Name and address of the person you are reporting The taxpayer identification number (social security number for an individual or employer identification number for a business) A brief description of the alleged violation, including how you became aware of or obtained the information The years involved The estimated dollar amount of any unreported income Your name, address and daytime telephone number Although you are not required to identify yourself, it is helpful to do so. Your identity can be kept confidential.

When did someone not paying their vendors become a violation of tax law? The only way I see that it would be the IRS concern is if a person or company was claiming a deduction on their tax return for payments that were not made. Unless you can prove they are deducting payments not made ( issuing a false 1099-MISC could be a clue), I think you are wasting your time.

Yeah, Brenda I know who he is. I just thought I would mention for those contemplating using the IRS as a collection agency that it might not be a good idea.

In addition to what Brenda said...
I think what he's trying to say is not that failure to pay vendors is a tax violation, BUT if they're keeping all the money they better be reporting ALL the money as income...failure to report all income IS a tax violation...by not paying notaries they're keeping the money...thus it's their income. I think....<G>

Thats a big IF. How would you know if they are filing their returns correctly or not? I prefer not to mess with the IRS. You start filing false claims about someone with the IRS it may get turned around and they start looking at you.

This address and name Matt is so familiar to me, didn't they go by another name in the past? I keep old records but can't find anything. However I would suggest you email them stating you will report them the the insurance commissioner, it works for me. Doesn't matter if your name is on the hud or not they don't want trouble.

Recent feedback on these guys hasn't been so good. I did one for them recently so I am a little concerned. I had done several for them in the past, but not since last year. They did change addresses since then, they used to be in Pickerington, OH. My experience was they always paid in 30 days and were very pleasant to work with. I hope that you (and I) have good luck in getting paid.

Re: Premier Signing Services (positive)
I called about a week ago to inquire about payment for a signing I did in late June - they informed me the check had gone out that day, and it did in fact arrive in my mailbox a couple days later. So thumbs up from my perspective - they were pleasant and organized and I'd be glad to work with them again.

Even at 45 days?
My experience is that first it's 45, then it's 60 and then it's Title Stream or Sox-ville.
45 days is too long, IMHO. Just my thoughts.

Re: Unfair comparison Brenda
Yes this company is slow to pay. Always has been. In three years of doing business for them I've never had to chase any payments. Never had an issue with bad checks or unprofessionalism. Nothing like TS or Sox.

Re: Unfair comparison Brenda - my opinions have always
been bordering on unfair and biased to fit my own conclusions.
That's what opinions are -- biased.
Thank you for yours...which is also biased.
