I closed a loan for them (they were desperate they paid my fee without a quibble) on July 8 and had to call to get paid. When I called the "accounting person" was very rude said the check was in the mail, you know that old saying. Well the check arrived two days ago August 27. About 7 weeks, forget it. I'm not helping anyone's cash flow but my own. When I have to call a company to get paid it's over for me I won't work for them again. I'm done too.

Interesting you put this in here today. The accountant is also apparently the office manager. I just spoke with her on Friday and complained to the former manager about the accountant and how rude she is. I spoke with the former manager, Diana Cliver. I told her that the accountant has been extremely rude when I check on payment to see when the payment is coming. My last payment took 60 days to get here so I wanted to make sure all was on time this time. I told her that I was considering not doing business with them anymore because of the accountant's attitude toward inquiries on payment and she said I could contact her in the future to check on it instead of the accountant. I said that the accountant just was really rude and it was stressful for me to deal with. She would not respond to emails so I had to call her and put myself through that. Honestly, after reading this thread and seeing the others are also going through the same thing, I will probably have to see if they can pay me through title next time and, if not, I will consider not closing with them anymore. They pay me but only after having to go through a lot of stress. Diana was very helpful and I like her, but the accountant, Jeannie, is extremely difficult to deal with and I told Diana that on Friday. Thanks for bringing this up. I don't understand why they are like this, but it is very upsetting to deal with.

I DO !
I don't imagine the captain of the Titanic was jovial after he found out about the iceberg.
I suspect Signing Pro, like the Titanic, is filling with water (stuff unpaid and stuff late-paid) and will sink in time.
After all, the Titanic didn't go down the minute it hit the iceberg.
Too many people are having trouble getting paid.
The solution is simple....it's the same solution for SOX and all the rest of their ilk:
JUST SAY NO...AND TELL THEM WHY!!!

That is why I called them to tell them how I feel about their attitude. I had had enough of the attitude and needed to bring it to their attention. I like your comparison though. That is what I felt too.....it is just sad that people are like that.
