Wanna trade?
From time to time I see posts where folks express their hesitancy to share info they might have on their best title companies or signing services. Of course this makes sense from a business perspective. Why invite their competitors to solicit their best clients, right?
Well, as I only close in Georgia, and most of you are not my competitors, it occured to me that perhaps some of you non-Georgians might want to exchange info via PM with me for purposes of expanding our client lists. I know I have a couple or 3 clients who do settlements nationwide, and, like many of you, I am always looking for more opportunities.
Anyway - if you are interested - feel free to send me a brief PM and I'll gladly trade info with you. Thanks!

Re: Wanna trade? Query
Will you provide your really good clients names to people you have no way of qualifying as experienced?

Yes - each company has their own screening procedure......
I'm just basically thinking of referring them to the company's website.

Screening procedure......???
Anybody ever been screened? Not that I think it's a bad idea, just that it's never happened. Charles has a good idea, tho'. Atty-network for the 'Atty-only' states.

Usually they ask how many signings you have done, etc
A few have their own little tests they give.
Some have none at all.
I was just saying I am not concerned with the quality of the folks who may be registering at their websites.

Re: Wanna trade? Perhaps you should consider a network.
Brenda/TX has posted the procedures for forming a network similar to one that she formed in Texas. There have been several networks formed based on that model and they have done well including exchanging sensitive information and acting as a clearing house for lenders and Title Companies.

Sounds a little beyond the scope of what I had in mind
I was just intending to send folks to a couple websites where they could sign up as a notary and possibly get some new business. And I was hoping they might do the same for me. Nothing more than that.

Re: Wanna trade? Perhaps you should consider a network.
I had thought about trying to get a network thing for Maryland TPL's. But then Bob told me there was an abundance of title producers in Maryland willing to do $90 e-doc signings so I said forget it. LOL.
