Written, verbal, oral

I'm posting this because sometimes we need to write very carefully on this board so other members can understand us. A recent poster was concerned that it might be hard to prove something happened, because it was "verbal". I think the poster meant "oral". Verbal covers anything expressed in words, whether written or spoken.

A popular example of non-verbal, non-written, non-oral communicaton is carried out while driving, after another driver makes a poor maneuver. This is performed through appropriate positioning of the fingers of one hand.

One always must be careful with that "Oral"stuff.

What…no rebuffs? May I expound? “Proof that something happened” Let’s take pregnancy? Pretty much proof that ‘something’ happened? If oral and “something” happened… usually no proof (unless you kept the blue dress)
