This is the compnay that consistanlty refuses to confirm agreed fees on their confirmation then shorts you on your check.

Boy...they think they are crafty, don't they.
I haven't worked for them for awhile but I ASSURE YOU that I would never, ever agree to go to a job without an email or something in writing assuring my fee--accurately.

Make sure your background check is through notrot or their perferred vendor, otherwise you may not get the $50 calls. I am not a negative person, just telling it the way it is.

I did that once and got burned for the re-print fee as docs printed, then changed. Was to get new confirmation, didn't. During 2006 when 'too busy' to notice some things and got overlooked. Now, despite the claims it would be put right by SS on this forum, it will not be done. Have I learned? you bet'cha!

Bancserv has a test??? Since when?
Actually signed up with them probably a decade ago...they are just getting around to me. Paying 'my' fees, too or I don't go. So far/so good. Not $50; not even close.

Bancserv is owned by Bill Foley of Fidelity National Title, it is another way to augment their revenues by shorting the notary. The Escrow Officers I worked for in Santa Barbara hated to have to use them because they were (are?) so incompetent. By hiring $50 notaries, they were not getting the most knowledgeable, professional LSA's and it was apparent. I worked for Bancserv in the very early days, but no longer.
