I searched here for info on Adobe-9 but didn't find much.

Anybody use it with success.

I run Windows XP.

Adobe 9 is the latest release

Yes, you should be using the latest version: 9.0.0. It is optimized for XP and Vista users, but works well with NT and 2000.

Re: Adobe 9 is the latest release

Do I delete 8.0 first, then install it?

It's been a while, but if memory serves...

the 'deleting' of old Adobes is automatically part of the installation program of 9.

Re: Adobe 9 is the latest release

Lee is correct in that Adobe 9 installation 'should' delete previous installs, but it is best to do it manually yourself, being sure to also remove the files and directories left behind by the uninstall routine. Then reboot your system and install Adobe 9.
