Having Fun With Garmin GPS

If you're tired of American-Jill and her attitude about "recalculating" try this little program. I've tried it on my Nuvi 680 and now "American-Jane" says "Oops, Missed The Turn. Hold On".

Of course, doing this is at your own risk. I won't be held responsible for hosing your GPS or any of your other equipment.

If your unit (umm GPS unit) supports TTS (text to speech) it should work like a charm!

That's what I have also, and it's not on the list of supported devices... This would be so cool... Imagine changing "Recalculating..." to "Hey! Pay attention next time!" or something similar...
