I'd rather be watching football
But I have a signing tomorrow. On New Year's Day?
Anybody else working tomorrow?
Oh well. Go USC!

Oh come on. You know when you get there, the borrowers will be watching the game and you'll be begging them to pay attention to the docs and get through everything....

Re: I had 2 ...with a question
I had Loans 2 to sign tonight. One the borrowers refused to sign because I did not have a $60,000.00 check to hand the ex wife. So she refused to sign the Quit Claim Deed. We called the LO and Title and no one answered their phones. Then the man after being on hold for 15 minutes said "Ok that enough time we are not going to sign" The other loan my user name and pass word that Titles sent me via email did not work. I copied and pasted it. I also logged off and on. I rebooted my computer but it was a no go. So I could not get to the docs to print them. I had call the Title Company too and no one answered the phone at Title on this loan either. I had to call the Borrowers and cancel the signing. Borrowers are unhappy because they postponed a trip to sign the loan. They said that the interest rate expired. I have never had a pass word and user name not work before.
Has any one else had this experience where you user name and pass word did not work and no one avalable to help?
Blessings for a great 2009

Had a somewhat similar situation
Hiring party forwarded e-mail and username/password to me to access docs - rejected - seems the security feature could detect that I was not one of the intended recipients of the original e-mail so it blocked me - hiring party ended up having the e-mail sent directly to me and I was then able to access the docs.....

JoAnn - on that first no-sign situation,
Either there would've been a rescission period (preventing immediate funding anyway), or it was closing in escrow - regardless, I'd bet the ex-wife's divorce attorney would've been able to set her straight about signing the QCD, and she might've had their cell number.
Just a retro-spective thought ... =)

Re: JoAnn - on that first no-sign situation,
She had no obligation to the loan. Therefor she did not have a RTC on the loan only her Ex husband did. Her Ex husband was taking out a loan on there home to pay her Divorce settlement and she was signing off her interest in the home. All she had was the Quit Claim Deed to the home and would not sign it unless I gave her $60 thousand dollars. She was listed on the settlement statement. She wanted her money before she would sign off on the house. I think that her attorney should call the LO and Title that is great advice Renee. We called all the numbers we had to find her an answer but New Years Eve, no one was working.

Re: I had 2 ...with a question
Sometimes cut and paste will not work with very secure websites. You might also find that the number keypad will not work for numbers either. If you tried several times different ways, then they probably messed up. Too bad there is no after hours contact number.

Re: I had 2 ...with a question
Sometimes their is a . after the password and you have to delete it.
Another try is ask the borrowers if they have the cell phone number of their Loan Officer and call him/her and see if they can get the docs sent.

Re: I had 2 ...with a question
Copy and paste usually works, but some secure sites will not allow pasting into masked boxes (but it will look like it did) and you have to type the characters. Did you try that? Were you using the correct browser? Some are picky about the browser you use and require IE or Firefox, but not either. Did you try another computer? I know that seems like a crazy suggestion, but sometimes another computer works perfectly, and in this business, a second system is imperative at times.

Re: I figured it out and have the docs now.....
THANKS to EVERYONE for your help. Because of all your suggestings I was able to figured out what the problem was.
Here is what it was I was email that the docs were ready to be picked up and printed, with a link to the web site. That link would not let me even get into the web site with the user/password that they email me too no matter haw many ways I tried it. What I did was type the web site address into the AOL address box and click go and then it went to a totally different page which took my log in information. We have signed the loan and we are ready to drop the docs.
Again thanks for all the help. Have a blessed 2009 JoAnn Baracosa

Glad you figured it out and not to rain on your parade..but
Did you have authorization to sign today as opposed to yesterday?

Dangit! Wasn't finished...
hope the docs weren't date sensitive - may end up with a re-draw and revisit anyway...
Good Luck with this..

May I suggest a third?
NEVER use the AOL browser. Seriously.
Open an entirely different browser for this kind of thing. Or get rid of AOL altogether.

When I get edocs sent from FASS, there is a link to click
which takes you to a screen where you input your username and password. If I click on the link and do that, my log-in will be rejected.
Instead, I have to copy and paste the link (or re-type it entirely) into my browser address box. Only then will the log-in work properly.
So it is possible that it may not be an issue with the username and password at all; it could be a problem with how you get to the web page where you have to enter them.

Close encounter with a pit bull
The signing went well. But for a moment I saw my life flash before my eyes. We did the signing in the basement. The borrower put his pit bull behind one of the doors. He thought he closed it shut, but he didn't. He went upstairs to get something. I heard a scratching on the door and the next thing I knew the pit bull was out and coming after me. All I could think of was, this is the first day of the new year and I won't see another day. I'm going to be mauled to death by a pit bull. Fortunately it wasn't interested in doing that. It just wanted to lick me.
