My most unusual request
Like a lot of states, New York State has a lottery. I seem to be particularly unlucky at Lotto, but I'll keep trying. Today the NYS Lottery called me and said that a group of people had won $7 mil each at Lotto and there was going to be a big press bash at the mall in the town where they're from and they want me to notarize the paperwork so they can dispense the checks. I told them I'd do it for $5 mil. We eventually agreed on a much lower fee to be paid at the time of service.
