On another note... the "organization" just....

took down just about ALL of their News articles within the last hour or so, and it is now posting the following message if you try to access an archived news article:

"This section is currently under revision to provide an enhanced level of service to our members in 2009. Please bookmark and revisit this page after January, 2009."

You screwed up in my opinion and others seem to agree. I guess you felt 'special' and wanted to brag, but instead you opened a can of worms that should not have been opened. This had been going on for some time now and if you were really involved in this profession, you should have known...many have known for months and were intelligent enough to understand that they were being questioned in an INVESTIGATION. Dumb move, IMO, to post this on a public forum that anyone can see and many monitor.

But what does it matter, really? Multiple others have reported getting the calls, too.. .and it's not as if it's a subject that isn't well known and already discussed often enough.

Becca, you *do* have a habit of childish name calling. IMO, that is even more of a dumb move on a place like this. But you've already heard me gripe about that. However you want to spin it, you do it all the same. If you're okay with doing that, fine, but why harass and bother people about a topic that is, quite frankly, one of importance to the industry?

Becca, I've been on this forum since 2005. I've said it before and you've obviously neglected to remember that part. Just because I have not been openly posting all that time doesn't mean I've not been around or that I don't understand the industry or lack experience. Your comments about Virtual Assisting prove you know nothing of that work, so I won't even bother to go there any more.

I am not a newbie you can bully around and scare off. You do enough of that and it's really annoying. Sadly, you probably don't even notice that a good portion of the time we actually agree on many things.

Far better that I be a know-it-all that can actually answer a question that I can find an answer to (and back it up with law or sources) than take the need to belittle & call other professionals on this forum names. I believe in participating and offering help if I can. I've no interest in your feelings on the matter. The fact is that my efforts are rewarded well enough. If I'm wrong on something, I wholly welcome somebody to let me know so I can learn, too. I expect it. I never claimed to be perfect. But I won't let unprofessional bullying scare me off, and others who read this board that are otherwise scared to post for fear of how they'll be treated should know you are not the end all be all of NotRot. There's a way to discuss these things without being petty and rude.

I just find it ironic that you chastise Prosperity for discussing a topic that is widely reported as happening and a legitimate issue in our industry, and yet you use names and epithets that are possibly offensive to people in a professional community. By all means... enjoy yourself. Just don't think you can bother me or run me off because of your superior attitude. I'm here to learn and share with and from other professionals. It's really that simple.


Now, the reason I started this thread is because the NNA took down their ENTIRE news section archive on their website today. That, to me, is news itself. If it isn't to you, so be it... but there is no need for name calling. Especially when the object of your name calling hadn't even posted in the thread before you started up.

Becca, my business is very successful. I was speaking for the benefit of all on this forum. Your contribution, knowledge wise, would contribute to the success of many on this forum. But wait! Sad commentary on the latter portion of this thread, that the exchange of "ideas and opinions" deteriorated far below what I would expect of a "professional" loan signing agent. As a professional official seeking to serve the needs of my clientele, I would be keeping copious mental notes about who I might want to make sure I never contacted to meet with my clients. Let's hope the tone and tenor of future postings on any issue never deteriorates to this low level of demeanor, complete disregard for the respect of others and themselves.
