I did a closing for them on 09/24 and just got paid last friday November 28th

I just called and asked to speak with Diana, they owe me for one from 9/25/08 and one from 10/15/08, Diana said they are running behind, she was going to manually put the one from Sept. in for me, but the one from October, she said I'd get paid by Dec. 11th, then changed it to the end of December.
They've always been really good to work for, but when a company starts having financial issues I'm leary to accept work.

I refuse to do business with them anymore and told them so last week. I rarely do that, but the accountant there is also the office manager and she is very unprofessional.
They still are paying around 60 days after closing, and only after hounding them for the payment.
Since the manager is the accountant too I just don't see the point in doing business with them since she controls everything. :-)
I don't have the patience for this anymore. I cannot spend all my time trying to collect money that is owed to me. It is just too stressful and a waste of my time.
Good luck. Just be aware of how it is going to be and don't expect payment to come very quickly.

I accepted one with them for tomorrow and then looked them up. When I saw that the only one I did for them I did on January 25, 2008 and got paid on November 24, 2008, I called them and told them the only way I was going to do it for them was if they overnighted a check with the docs, which they were already planning to overnight. Didn't get to speak with the gal that originally booked me but I also emailed her and told her we're canceled unless they overnight the check, and I gave her the order number for the one I didn't get paid on for 10 months. Had she mentioned Harry Reeves when she called I would have recognized signing company immediately. I wasn't in front of my computer at the time. Evidently they're not planning on sending the docs with a check so this one is off for tomorrow, at least for me.
