I just received a call from Andrea to do a closing 12/31. I noticed the comments on NR which aren't favorable at all. The last comment was posted 11/23/08. Has anyone worked for them since then and have any of you received payment since you've posted as of yet? I'm cancelling the assignment.

Closing 9/26/08 payment received 11/21/08 after many unanswered calls to Andrea, calls to the LO and EO. Way too much BS to deal with, IMO. Although, my fee was met, I won't be accepting more closings from this company.

when she was in "business" with Mike/Mick/whatever name he used they stiffed me. According to him, she inflated my fee. Then he said she absconded with the client. From them both, there were all sorts of tales of drugs, drinking, falling down stairs, homelessness, etc. I never got paid for the order and the title company could have cared less ... seems they always hire deadbeats from Ohio and she is now no exception. Anyway, she now has Direct as the client. She called me for an order and I reminded her who I was and that she promised me to be paid from the new company (which would make no sense at all if you were not an owner of the first ...). She said she didn't blame me for declining the order and hung up on me.

So ... she acknowledged that she owed me money and would pay. She didn't pay. I reminded her. She didn't care and she moved on to someone else.

My opinion ... she is a total ghetto loser and I would never have anything to do with her.

During the time we had worked for them, about 2 years ago, they were very nice. Our fee was not an issue and payment was always rcvd within the 45 days they had promised. At the end, payment started to get further and further behind. Then came the fee cut. That was pretty much the end of our business relationship with them. Haven't worked with them for about a year now.

I think , in some cases, we can like this type of behavior to the ponzi scheme that has made the news lately.
As long as there was good money coming in they could keep people satisfied and then when things started going south there were no reserves to pay up.
I do not know about this particular company, but am sure some folks out there have been living pretty high on your sweat and hard work.

I really would like to say that I was living the high life off of everyone's money if that were remotely true. What is the truth is that I have countless sleepless nights because of the distress I am in for not having the funds to pay the closers at some times within our 45 day time frame. We have never NOT paid someone, I absolutely send out the money the MINUTE I have it in. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I cannot always pay instantaneously. When times were good, we paid within 3 weeks. When the market turned, it took the title company a bit longer to get the money to us so in turn it takes a bit longer to get to the closer. I pay my closers before I take a dime, and that is all I can do. I am a very kind, caring person who hates the fact that sometimes these things happen but it is just the times we are in.

Well, I had no issue what so ever. Received payment in 28 days plus Andrea was very helpful even when it was a 9pm signing and I needed help. I have nothing bad to say which seems like the only time comments are posted.
