Weather

Just a comment. Work has been picking up; however, this week I have had about 5 calls for siginings which I cannot get to because of the snow, cannot even get out of driveway. Not a happy situation.

We're just about to get it here in MA....

Luckily, I think it will only affect 2 out of the 6 signings I had scheduled for today & we are already in the process of tyring to get them rescheduled over the weekend of next week.

What kind of Oregonian are you?

Do you not have the standard Oregon issue Subaru? Everyone has one, hell even I have one and I live in Washington. Consider yourself scolded and go out and get you an Oregon approved and issued Subaru.

I was called for a signing in Florence but had to

turn it down because of the ice on the roads. I drive a 4X4 truck with chains on all four, but even the plows were sliding off the road. Too many cliffs between here and there to risk it.

I had one an hour away yesterday. All schools and many businesses were closed including the one I had to drive to yesterday. I live on a private dirt drive. Snow was at least 8 inches deep with nothing but ice underneath. I tried to let everyone involved know that I was a little concerned with my safety and probably wouldn't even make it out of my drive. (I don't have 4 wheel drive) They really wanted this thing to close so I decided I would give it a go.

Sure enough I got stuck in my drive but a nice young man with 4 wheel drive took pity on me and towed me out to the main road. I was late but I got it done and everyone involved was very appreciative of my efforts.

In the beginning I was really hoping that the signing service would try to find another notary closer to the closing sight but in the end I'm glad I muddled through and showed them they could count on me anytime anywhere. I believe I may have finally found a customer where loyalty matters.
