'We've just been so busy ...'
I just got off the phone with Genuine Title after accepting a closing for tomorrow.
There was some concern on this board from a few posters about payment. I had to wait a little longer than normal for the past 2 closings I did. But they did pay me. And the checks cleared -- a problem people have been having with a few different companies.
Before hanging up, I asked if they had gotten the payment situation straightened out. I was told that they have been so busy, but they are paying people. So if you haven't been paid, be a little patient. Continue to nudge them, if necessary. But don't give up hope.
The good news is that: 'We've just been so busy.' Hopefully that translates into more closings for all of us in the future.

Well if they're that busy they should be able to pay in a reasonable time or they won't have anyone to close for them.

I did a closing them a few months ago and had to bug for payment and about a year ago and had to bug for payment. No more bugging.

If they are so busy then maybe the can hire someone that is better at getting payments out. I had to wait 65 days to get paid and that was only because I bugged them every other day. Never again.

I'm not doing it.
It was a RESPA signing. It's only about 30 pages, BUT it's more than 20 miles away. Not only that, but it takes more than 30 minutes to get there. I asked for more money because of the time and distance. We couldn't reach an agreement on the fee I requested.
