Non-specific POA is a general POA, and generally given to a financial advisor, attorney or CPA, or a trusted spouse to use if their spouse is on travel. Specific POA could be a Durable Power of Attorney, or for specific real estate loan or purchase transaction. These POA's must be preapproved by the escrow/title and lender or they may not be valid. POA's need to be crafted by an attorney. I know people pull them off the internet or seek forms from WE THE PEOPLE, but this is risky.
