The guy that called me for one 100 plus miles away didn't speak english! At least that I could understand. Who is the genius that hires schedulers offshore? Or people that aren't fluent in our tongue?

They are still in business because they get newbies to do the foot work, pay them right away and when the newbies finally smarten up and say no to lowball fees, we will all be much better off.

I quote my fees - sometimes they are approved, sometimes not

I "just say no" every time one of those offshore schedulers calls with an assignment and tell them my regular fees. Always they have to "see if I can get that approved". If they call back with approval of my regular fee and I'm still available, fine. If they don't call back, that time slot is available for a company that does pay a fair and reasonable fee. Smile
