Remove it
Hi, Toni
You and your picture look great. Your complexion is to die for!
But I strongly suggest you remove your photo.
There are creeps out there who call pretty young mobile notaries like you in the hopes of getting "other" services. This creates danger for the notary.
This happened to a sweet 30-something NSA I know in California. Truly. Scared her to death. She got away before being ra*ed, thank goodness. (Asterisk used so NotRot would not get found by internet searches for porn.)
I suggest you do an internet search and use a notary embosser image. I found some nice ones on Google when I searched Images.
Meaning only good things for you, LauraV

I agree
I have talked about the man calling the blond realtors around here to list his house. Also the letters one gets from an inmate in prison who thinks she's pretty and will she be his freind. I use my logo.

Interesting Comments
Toni, I have my photo posted and it took weeks for me to decide whether to use it or not. I was really "torn" for the same reasons posted by Laura and others. So far it hasn't been a problem. Granted, I'm older than you and some may think not as glamorous (smile). Two weeks ago I received a call from the general public. A man started off the conversation by saying "Michelle, I'm looking at your picture on the internet". He didn't say hello. He didn't introduce himself. I didn't know how to respond. Well....I knew what I wanted to say but I held my tongue. It was creepy, Toni. He repeated himself and I was ready to tell him off and hang up the phone. But eventually, he explained that he did need notary services. I met him, his wife and his mother and everything worked out. However, his initial comments spooked me.
If you choose to keep the photo on your profile, be extra careful and prudent about the jobs you accept and your safety. If you don't want to take any chances, change it. Oh yeah, your decision might depend on where you reside/work. If you're big city - perhaps there's more of a risk.
I wish you all the best.

Thanks everyone
For your comments. I will take everything in consideration. I do have to add though that being a female and going out to signings at night or even during the day is dangerous in itself. A rapist will attack any female no matter how pretty they may look (even though make up does wonders), he could attack me for just having brown eyes or black hair or I could remind him of some woman who treated him bad or he could just hate women regardless. I will keep it for the time being and will be very careful of who calls as asks for services. My criminal justice background and Army survival skills hopefully will help me out if I get into a dangerous situation (and a stun gun and mace).
But I do appreciate the feedback. I will cruise around to find a logo to put in the place of my picture in the future.
Thanks for all the lovely comments on my picture.
