UPS supplies
I had to close my UPS account. (UPS continued to charge my card I had to change the #) They were charging my account for no 3rd party address. As all of you know we only receive one address. I distroyed all my pre preprinted labels, and now use same address for the To and From. Anyone else having a problem getting supplies, HUB never has any boxes and drivers always empty. And if I get a closing with overnight if UPS tell them set appointment for after 2PM cause I won't have docs.

Same problem here, I go to one of the big office building in downtown Orlando and raid their shipping areas, they leave them there by the box fulls but won't put any in the drop boxes, and none of the UPS stores will give you supplies. If you find the right building you can get supplies for all of the shipper's, the Day Building in Orlando has DHL, UPS & FED EX, supplies are piled in boxes on the ground all around the drop boxes.

You can call UPS at their 1-800-PICKUP-UPS number and get supplies shipped directly to you without an account number. The trick is to not use their automated service but to actually get to a customer service person, by dialing "0". Their customer service person can arrange to have supplies shipped to you directly, no account number necessary.

UPS supplies _are_ available from _all_ authorized ...
... dropoff points! They may not have legal-size envelopes. If they don't, ask 'em to get some!
Authorized dropoff points are mostly independently owned. They do _not_ have to give you a receipt, but they _must_ accept your dropping off a properly-labeled package.
The independent places make about $0.50 on your package if you have your own (or somebody else's) account number on it. That's why you may see some ... umm ... reluctance. Or even hostility.

I wonder why their procedures are different depending on
what state your in, I called but in Florida they won't send out supplies without putting your own account # on them. The worst part is the UPS stores won't give you supplies, and the driver's don't stock the drop boxes anymore except at the large office buildings. At least, that's the way it is in the Orlando area. And Fed EX is starting to do the same thing.

True as stated. You must talk to a person and explain that you cannot get supplies locally. I just had a case of 250 Legal Express Envelopes requested today and they'll be here within two days. Normally you have to have a UPS account otherwise they expect you to pay for their supplies. Supplies are hard to come by out here in rural America, even at the main UPS depot. They have been out of these envelopes for over a month.
UPS is very quick to bill you for bad account numbers or addresses. I tried putting the TC info in both to/from but UPS rejected it. Their billing really sux.

UPS really sucks and I know how you feel, had to do the same. Now I advise all of my clients that THEY must have an account with any courier. It was a every expensive lesson to learn, but in the end its worth having that requirement. And its fun to see how the client's "miracously" come up with an account number. Doesn't happen at all with TTs, only with the shady SS.

This happened with me with FED EX until I learned that it was my fault. I was not changing the bill to box. I was putting in the correct account (3rd party) for billing. I just love it now I learned how to fill the darn thing our right. I would call UPS and ask them what is up and see if it is something you are missing. Mine was such an easy fix. I always put my information on every package. I guarantee that the package will get where it should, until it is there it is my responsibility so I want it returned to me if it cant get where it is sent. It never has but you never know.

I have had the same problem with UPS. I tell clients to use DHL or FedEx, and so far no one has said anything. I refuse to use UPS anymore, they are ridiculous with their supplies.

I made friends with a local Parcel Post. their storage cabinet had cases and cases of Legal envelopes. She litterally handed me an entire case! she said "anytime!"
