1st signing for the year . . . DISASTER
I finally got my first signing for the year. Documents were not available until half an hour before the signing. I notified the TC that I consider this as a "rush signing" and asked for a $XX increase. They got upset and told me that they'll notate the account and it will cause my "rank" to decrease. FINE. I got to the BO's home and she was upset as hell. She told me that she's been waiting for this for months, her LO keeps lying to her, I'm late and that I don't know squat of what I'm doing. I explained to her that I did not have control of the documents and I am only there to witness her signing it and point out the important information. But she kept on rambling , blah, blah, blah. I swear I heard her call me stupid. Uurrrgggghhhhh. What?!?! Me?!?! Stupid?!?! She said so herself that her LO keeps lying to her and yet she went through with the loan. Plus, she keeps saying that I should know all the answers to her questions because I'm in this business. I am not an LO or a lawyer. I just nodded, smiled and kept my cool. This is by far the worst experience I ever had.
*Sigh* Thanks for letting me vent. I feel better.

I have noticed
That when you get these last minute fiasco print jobs, that is an indication how the whole loan has been going. I am not surprised she was mad, because the same idiots getting the loan to her were involved in getting the docs to you.

Re: I have noticed
I always tell the borrower's up front that if the docs arrive on time I'll arrive on time. If the docs are late, I will be late and I ask if that will be a problem, that way I don't break my neck and the speed limit trying to realize an unreasonable time set by the SS or the TC.
