50-60 degree drop
In less than 12 hrs! It was -24 plus windchill this am! Yesterday it was in the low 40's! Had a driveway to go up this am that was basically a farm field road with drifts and ice. Had to put the car in low gear getting back down!(yes its an automatic). Good day to try to stay home!

Zana, I don't know how you do it. It was 80 here today.
God bless you frozen tundra NSAs! I wouldn't do this job in your weather for all the kings gold. I hope you charged for hazard pay.
BTW, I have a lead for all the state networks. I am shot for the night and Lost is on, so please, someone remind me tomorrow and I will forward the info. This is a big TC closing CW loans all over. The Florida NSA Network was lucky enough to secure the Florida business and I hope the same will be true for WI, MI, OH, TX, VA and CA.
If you need a break from the cold, you have plenty of network buddies down here ready to offer up a free room.

I don't know...I heard you have really big bugs down there. But thanks! I feel sorry for the Mom's and Dad's that ended up with kids home for a snow or weather day today. I did turn one job down that involed a very rural area. To much black ice and drifts.

I think you people are just making up all of this warm weather stuff. The last time I was in Florida it was in the 30s. I was in San Diego last year and there was a frost warning. They had to cover up all of the fruits and nuts. I just returned from New Orleans. I was cold in my winter coat. Sorry, I'm just not buying it. Every place is just like here.

Pat You should have stayed another day Some days during the "winter" our temps drop to the 30's, but they go right back up within a few days.

Re: "They had to cover up all of the fruits and nuts."
So how do you do that? Do they have to wear the cover 24/7, or just when they are outside? If they come inside your/their home or business are they required to keep the cover on? I am wondering how they dont keep bumping into each other on the streets and roads, if all/most of the fruits and nuts are covered up. Are they able to drive, or are they forced to public transportation due to the fact that they cannot see???
Yes I am attempting to be funny... just in the mood for some silly - ness today...
