ATM and Service link
I take a signing from ATM and the email with confirmation is from ATM but when I open the confirmation it says Service line on the top. So do I get paid by ATM or servicelink? Do we have to invoice them just like servicelink? Just wondering since there is no one to call today. TIA

Well- I cant be held responsible for your payment and you should call tomorrow and verify. As far as I know if it is ATM- you do not invoice. You should get a check in around 10 days for the signings. Like I said call for yourself to verify!!!!!!!! They have merged.

This is why people hate this forum. All I did was ask you all if this is normal. I just hadn't done one for ATM in a long time and did not ever ask you to be responsible for my payment. I have been doing this for a long time and am not retarded like you seem to think I am.

Hi Erica, when I did a closing for ATM, I called and was told that everything is now considered ServiceLink and you will need to invoice ServiceLink according to their instructions and will receive your check from ServiceLink.

CF, Although Erica's question was unnecessary...your response was even more so...If I didn't know better and hadn't received payment from ATM I would just include it on the Service Link invoice. She was just trying to get a little info.
If you would have responded in an Adult/Professional tone...you could have made your point. Get a clue?...And maybe I wouldn't have wasted 4 minutes responding to your smart A@@ remarks.
I have made a New Years Resolution to not to make smart as# remarks. I would sometimes respond to questions that I thought should be common knowledge IE (a stupid Question) by attacking and making tart remarks. No more! Everyone has a right to express themselves. I do not have the right to stifle their creativity, no mater how confusing it may seem. If you don't have something nice to say...
Sorry, I got carried away...I hope 2008 posts will be positive and enlightening as well as entertaining. Opinions not personal attacks is what makes Notary Talk worth reading.

I compliment you on your NY resolution because:
I see people ask questions that vary from simple, to seriously intricate. I learn from them all – you can teach an old dog . . .
When I started out, I used to go crazy looking for answers, then I found a site; signing agents at yahoo and PAW and the others were so very courteous, kind and most of all helpful.
They helped me get the right printers – I was oblivious as to what I needed, until I posted the question (4 years ago) and they all came through– Joan, PAW and many others. I got an HP4250 and 2840 AIO.
I could have been bashed for asking stupid questions, but would have gotten easy answers. Instead I flew by the seat of my pants, hoping I wouldn’t blow my “stupid” cover.

For the record....
I did NOT treat anyone with disrespect! I answered her original post...and clarified not to take my answer as the "end all be all" and that she need to verify for herself. She then responded that I treated her like an "impared" person and I talked down to her. Some others jumped on the band wagaon....and continued to BASH me!!!!!!!!!!!!! I helped out a person with a question....and you can all shove it- as far as I am concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like previous posted: you are all a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My post was based on a phone call to ATM/ServiceLink concerning a job posted on 11/28/07 and my instructions were to send in a ServiceLink invoice by mail. They e-mailed me their invoice to send back. I received a check with the ServiceLink logo on top. A scheduler also told me that they are trying to phase out the ATM name but that it is taking longer than usual. This is my experience with ATM/ServiceLink. A phone call would definitely be in order for Erica to see if the same applies.

That is great to know. My last signings that I completed for them was 12/5/07 and I did not invoice Service Link and was paid off the HUD and received payment in about 1 week. This is why I said, in the first place, that Erica need to verify this information for herself b/c the company has merged! Now perhaps you will be bashed for giving out information- as I was for giving out information.
