Avoid: American Loan Signing Svcs. & First Step Home Loans

American Loan Signing Services hasn't paid for a loan signing ordered on 9/6/06!!! Actually I never completed the loan because I discovered the "borrower" was a FRAUD, a son posing as his deceased father (He was a Jr., this is important for loan signings!) to collect equity on his parents home!! After printing the loan documents twice and making 2 visits to the borrowers-the company decided to ignore my bill, phone calls, emails, and faxes.
Avoid AMERICAN LOAN SIGNING SERVICES.

Next, First Step Home Loans owes me $105 from a signing I completed on 10/6/06. After several phone calls, emails, and faxes...no money. Always a different story, "the loan officer you're requesting no longer works here", or "we'll send this down to payables department", then one day-no responses. Blocked my emails, ignored faxes, and left messages on their phones...
Avoid FIRST STEP HOME LOANS!

The coincidence between these two companies? They are both based in the same area of California. Both their area codes are 714.
