California question

I am replacing every acknowledgement and Jurat in the package- with the new 2008 variety. ( I am also filling out the ack. or Jurat enclosed and not stamping it) , I got a letter from a Title co. saying that the filed ack. (deed of trust) needs to be the new acknowledgment. They did not say anything about the other ones. I am doing this correctly or just adding a lot of work for myself-thank you for your responses.

adding alot of work just cross out the old ack/jurat and put "see attached Certificate" and put the new one behind it.

Not in CA but...

I would not complete something that is incorrect at all, stamp or no stamp. I would do as suggested and just line thru and attach the correct form behind it, no need to even say see attached.

Re: Not in CA but...

Is that in the CA handbook? And if it is, where?

We have to replace

EVERY acknowledgment and jurat that does not comply with the 2008 law whether it will be filed with a county recorder or not.
