Coversign - Payment Received

Just a follow up of a message about two weeks ago. If you remember, Coversign had not paid me for a signing back in August, I took another closing in January because Maurice said he would send me payment for the August closing the following Tuesday. Maurice did follow up with me although a couple of days later than expected. I did get payment for the August closing last week. Thank you Maurice for being a man of your word and honoring your payment responsibilities to the notaries.

Waiting 5 months to pay is hardly honoring his payment responsibilities to the notaries. Bet you'll feel differently when you get paid for last week's signing sometime in June.

And he actually took another signing from this guy without having been paid for one 4 months earlier. And then he thanks him because he eventually got around to sending out payment?

Are people really this desperate or are they just dumb? Now Maurice knows that he has a chump that he can string along for months at a time without having to pay.

With so many getting stiffed by the deadbeat companies for services rendered, it's good to hear that you were paid. The good companies seem to be the exception and not the rule. I'm sure Maurice will work on a more streamlined process to get payment out on schedule.

I rec'vd a call Saturday morning to do a signing but I wasn't available until 3pm but they needed someone "immediately" and I was 50 miles from home so they called someone else. When I got home I researced the company. They were a semi-deadbeat SS so I was glad I hadn't taken that assignment.
