DHL news

They will now be opening outlets in Walgreens, so look for this soon, according to Bloomberg Report just on TV

What a shame! My experience with this carrier (endorsed by the infamous NNA) has been poor. Thank the Lord only 2 companies in 2 years has ever asked for their packages to be sent back that way. When I called for a pickup I was told it would be 3 day before they could do a pickup in my area. Plus, we don't have a Walgreens located anywhere near us.

They have (or had) an agreement with Office Max also. The last time I used the drop box inside Office Max the package was not picked up. They claimed the box was empty when they checked at 6 PM. I had dropped the package at 3 PM.

They still have boxes at Office Max in my area - that's where I get supplies if I need them after-hours.

When I needed supplies I just called them and told them what I wanted and they delivered the next day. You do not have to have an account for them to do that. Now keep in mind that this was a year ago. The sad thing is that I still have 99% of the supplies that they delivered. Not many companies are using them. Its probably a good thing.

Experience here in Albuquerque has been horrendous. There is no office here in town and if you want to see a human you either have to call for a pickup (which may or may not happen) or go to the airport. The boxes they do have are always out of supplies, as they never restock them. I tell people right from the get go that if they use DHL (here at least) you may experience delays in getting your package back. Fortuntely, most use either UPS or FedEx. People use DHL because they are cheap. That is painfully apparent.

I had a DHL driver tell me at one of the "empty" boxes that it was not her responsibility to refill the supplies as she was filling in. After that she threw an envelope at me When I asked for the plastic envelope for the label you would have thought I asked for money. If I had my way everyone would use Fed Ex
