Express Notary, Irvine, CA

I haven't heard from this SS for over a month and so I sent them an email just to ask how's business. This is their reply:

If your fees were lower we would call more. We try to pay $50 for overnight docs and $75 for email.

Too bad, they were fast payers too and it was great working with them but those fees are wwaaayyyyy llooowwww.

Well, just think a minute. You can put $30 gas in the car, print out $20 worth of paper and ink, and spend 3 hours doing the work. Then when you get home you can burn up your fax machine with about 30 pages to 'em. That'll run you about $10 in labor and paper.

$60 Xpenses.

NOW. On your way back from mailing the package, you can stop off at the grocery store, and get a 2 liter coke, a 1 lb. pkg. of hamburger meat, a fresh loaf of bread, and go home for supper if you have enough gas left in your car to get there.

Then: get back on that computer and generate an invoice for $75 for all the fun you had that day and sit back and relax.

I know I am about to get my (&^$^& ) chewed but, here goes.

If you spend $20 on paper and ink, you have a very bad printer.

Could have been a little too much for printing

OK, maybe I could stretch out my profit to (2), 2 liter cokes.

The way things are today, best to take anything you can get. $50 is better then $0.

If that's the case, I'd rather stay home and take care of my

kids. I will not leave home for $50 unless it's a modification.

Re: Express Notary....Irvine, CA

Does anyone know anything about this co.? Are they legit? Is $125 for a piggyback a fair price? I personally thinks it's too low, but... Do they require faxbacks? I haven't worked w/ them for years and now, out of the blue, they call and need my services. Any wisdom would be very much appreciated. Thanks much!!!

$75 is insulting for edocs. I don't know why anyone who knows there way around a loan package would take that fee. Some of the edocs I get are over 100 pages for one set.

And I don't know if the fees they're getting have changed, but all the loans I've done for them in the past show $200 to the signing service. It does suck because they're probably the most faithfully on time payment company I've ever worked for, and the few mistakes they've made on my checks have always been rectified within a day or two.

But combine those fees with the crappy, condescending attitude that Henry showed on here a month or two ago and it's safe to say that another good company has bitten the dust. Which has been happening a heck of a lot lately. You really can't trust that any company that is good to you now will still be being good to you two months from now.
