Search reveals one comment re this company - no pay on canceled loan - message 222621. Any update on the outcome of that situation? Anyone else worked with this company recently? Dogmonger - did you accept the appointment?

They called me recently for a closing. I accepted until I asked about any extra work required that was not disclosed up front - faxbacks (she said 10 docs; well, that's actually 30-40 pages), split package, make copies of certain docs for the split, wait for approval to ship, etc. Couldn't come to terms on fee.

She was going to try and stiff me for a rescinded loan, when

I mentioned small claims, she was able to magically get CW to come up with 90% of my fee. Lesson here is if you just roll over some people will walk all over you-don't let'em. Why do they think we would #1 print docs, drive, sit with the BO, fax back, copy and split the package and not get paid if the loan cancels.?????
