Thanks Barbara
Bruce is doing OK. However against my STRONG objections, he went to work today. He swears he is only going to answer the phones! His boss has health problems and Thursdays he goes to get an infusion. He missed going last Thursday and he cannot miss two weeks in a row and Bruce says if he didn't go in to take care of the phones his boss would not go to get his infusion. So, he went in, but he swears he won't stay the whole day and he will only answer the phones. I am sceptical!

Some guys are just stubborn, but mean well. Loyalty is hard to find these days, I hope his boss understands how lucky he is.

Well, after 37 years I know my husband too well! I called him at work to see how he was doing and I got the answering machine. So, called his cell phone and he was doing a service call! He said it was a "low stress" service call!! Yeah, right!!!

Oh, his boss definitely appreciates him. The guy he had working for him before Bruce ripped him off big time, so the business wasn't making money. Since Bruce started working for him the business is making a lot more money, so his boss is happy. He is almost 80 years old and he has come to think of Bruce as family.

knowing him so well, you know he can't resist. LOL But seriously, Sylvia, I understand your side, and his as well. If he is happy, that is key to recovery also. You know, laughter is the best medicine. Annoying as that may be.

Hi gal,
You know work ethic, right?
I think you both have a serious dose of it, and thank God there are people like you out there.
The songs weren't coming through too well but they were a joy.
Perry was the greatest and I choke up everytime I hear Karen. What a waste of a life that was given a wonderful and immortal talent.

Yup, I know work ethic. I understand why he felt he needed to go in to work. But I feel he should have recuperated at least until Monday.
