Unforunately she suffered anorexia and died at the young age of 35. She had been in the USA and appeared on the Tonight show, she has also sung with Frank Sinatra.

It's about an hour from downtown Houston. There's a beautiful lake up there that I spent many a weekend water skiing, fishing and camping. For those of you in the area that haven't visited Lake Conroe, you should really check it out. The lake that is, not the prison. But I digress....

I was an engineer for many years and engineers tend to think in ways that would only cause intense consternation among most people. I've also sailed the Houston Ship Channel and the channel walls just gave me the heebie-jeebies that were borne out in New Orleans during Hurrican Katrina: the channel walls failed flooding the City.
