I have never worked for you, but everything I have read about you and your company has been positive. You are one of the good guys that are left. Keep up the good work.

Echoing Kathy/ID
People who have worked with the gentleman (and I mean that word sincerely) know that he is honest, fair, and one of the best in this business.

It is a good thing for us to know which signing services have gone out of business. BUT it wasn't very smart to deny this was your site, that you found it while surfing the net
Was nice talking with you

How do you say something is not you when it is you, then say you never meant to deceive anyone by saying it wasn't you? Isn't that the very definition of trying to deceive somebody?

Tony has a good reputation. Everyone says he is good to work for and pays on time.

And yet, that's EXACTLY what you tried to do.
You sound like our Detroit mayor. Only sorry when you're actually busted.

Yes, it was deceptive.
Tony, You have two options when it comes to using NR for advertising anything that benefits you in any type of enterprise...and a website is an enterprise.
You can put it in your profile or you can ask for Harry's permission to advertise.
In the past, I have received fair treatment from your signing service and prompt payment when I have signed loans for you.
However, I am disappointed in your saying that you didn't know anything about the site and just found it. It was not the truth. I believed you. I don't like that.

perhaps it's just my jaded eyes
but I've never understood the high 5ing that goes to this guy. His motives are (at least to me) so transparent. He comes on here every chance he gets and although he can't advertise, he circles around constantly .
Anyone that thinks he's not after your business is totally naive.

Re: this guy takes every opportunity
to get on this board and talk about how great a person he is and his company.
Once you start doing these things, more is sure to follow
Beware!

Re: perhaps it's just my jaded eyes
Many of us are jaded at this point, but let's give Tony the benefit of the doubt and quit kicking him to the curb. He knows at this point that there was a screw-up and he's apologized so let's move on. Anyone that has worked for him knows his SS is one of the very good one's. I've never been low-balled by Negrete's nor have I had to wait for payment. 'nuff said.

Agreed....but
"I've never been low-balled by Negrete's nor have I had to wait for payment. 'nuff said."
I did one assignment for him - he paid my fee and paid quickly...but that was before he announced that he was cutting his SA fees - only a week or two after publicly stating he had enough capital to keep him steady for a year or so ....haven't gotten any assignments from him since then (although, in fairness, it's probably a location thing).
The point remains he lied - and that's never a good thing. JMHO

Re: perhaps it's just my jaded eyes
no one is talking about his payment issues. I've never worked for him so I've got no idea. I'm saying he's got an ulterior motive and is always 'working' to obtain more business for himself - something I'd think 'signing agents' would do rather than high 5 a signing service, their direct competitor. What about those domain names he had for sale? I wonder what those lender's attorneys would have to say about that?

Re: perhaps it's just my jaded eyes
I've done many signings for Tony and have spoken with him on several occasions and I believe him to be a good person.
We're all working to obtain business for ourselves and if that business comes from an SS that has been fair and reliable in the past, I will continue to do business with them. (Yes, even in this market). And if Tony has cut his fees, just don't accept the assignment, it's that simple. I've been burned by SS's, I've been burned by title companies and I've been burned by lenders. We all work off faith that we're going to get paid and it doesn't matter which entity hires us.
And if you're curious about the domain names he had for sale, go to the source and ask.
