New Gas Prices - Under $3.00
Regular dropped 3 cents a gallon in the last few days in Southern California to $2.97 as our most reasonable fuel mart.

We actually have Chevron selling at a couple of stations for under 3 bucks. But enjoy it while they lasts. ...

This is a first - usually the CA prices are higher than here on the east coast. We're still over $3/gal here on Long Island, and it may be higher in NYC (more taxes...). I had to go over the rivers to NJ yesterday, and prices there were about $2.80 - sounds like a bargain, don't it? It's amazing how quickly we got used to higher prices... don't want to date myself, but when I first started driving gas was about $.40/gal....

Where are you in relation to Dallas? My brother lives there, and is up here visiting - he was really surprised at the difference in gas prices.Of course, NY adds about $.50/gal in taxes...

$3.45/gallon here
It was $3.79 last summer.
Now you all know why I prefer that clients drive to me over getting a travel fee for driving to them.

I've already named her. "Ruby Two."
Can't wait to order my license plates.
Heard someone say the other day that "Even if you don't like them, you can be happy other people have them because there'll be more parking spaces." Made me smile.
My present to me after 61 years. Breathe deep, that new-car-smell... (Moody Blues playing)
Ah, and the waiting will be the hardest part.

Hey Susie Girl!
"Ruby Two", adorable but how the heck are you going to fit a license plate on this roller skate? HAHAHAHA!
I was with ya totally UNTIL I saw the price tag on this little gem. Gem...ummmm...works eh?
My talk radio hosts were discussing this little car the other day...don't find yourself a man over 6' tall 'cause he won't be happy in your new little ride!

The only important issue is....
"when you turn your car on does it return the favor"

Honestly, I can't wait. A new car. A REALLY new
car -
Taking Dad back to Portland eye Dr next week, so going to test drive on the way back. Been reading lots, and interestd in the shifty thing - no clutch, of course - people seem to love it once they get the hang of it...
Watched a YouTube video - snow - zoomed right along, stopped just fine, Dad was videoing, what fun.
I'm waiting to be contacted, should be Feb or Mar.

Sue!! Are you all healed up and better? Hope so. This
is still a project, haven't signed anything.
Lots of research. Not a car for everyone, that's for sure, but I've always worn my own hat. The biggie is having a car payment - haven't had one of those in many years.
We're snowed in!!! Dad is caught up in the hills of Salashan. He was helping our PADL sec. with computer stuff, called last night, said - nope, can't get down the hills...I'm going to check out the snow on the beach...it's just gorgeous on the lake.
