Notary Direct

Just called me - updating coverage in my area and want to put me in database - O/N docs to borrower - $50....can I agree to that?....no..sorry - when I told her my fee for this county (which is not over the top, trust me) it was too high for her. And after seeing Sue_pa's thread about the deductions and penalties for "complaints"...thank you Sue...but no thank you Notary Direct.

I do quite a bit for Notary Direct and prices are all over the board. I have done some $75 short equities (Overnight docs) that are close to home but have also been paid $125 for other closings. I think it depends on how desperate they are at the time. They like to start at $50 but its mostly wishful thinking.

No thanks to fees starting at $50. It is an insult to offer $50 for overnight docs unless it is a modification.
