I did a search, however the information is dated, has anyone close for them lately and do they pay? they are out of Anahiem Ca. Help I took a signing for to night I still have time to withdraw.

I've gotten to the point where if I get a call from a Service I've never worked for, I immediately check them out as quick as I can. I search for info on this site, the NNA site (which now has an area to look companies up and see how they have been rated by other Notaries) and I also check the BBB. Time permitting, I go to the ripoffreport.com site. Things to look for: if the contacts are listed as "Staff", "admin" or some other vague nomenclature, forget about it!!! Another bad sign is a PO Box. I don't do business with a PO Box unless I have other data that says they are a good company. You can also check the domain on WHOIS to see if there is REAL Contact info. I've been burned tooooo many times now. It's gotten to the point where I won't work with a company or individule that isn't Background Screened just like we now have to be.
