Repeat deadbeats??

I've been lucky to pickup from this and other forums of those people and their companies with whom not to accept business from.. but I don't know everyone!

Does anyone have a list of the REPEAT DEADBEATS who keep stiffing notaries with new entities that they "bankrupt" to avoid paying? Again.. I'm looking for the WORST PEOPLE who keep stiffing as well as the companies used to stiff... something maybe like:

Company Name
Web address
Owner/Mgr
City/State
Personal Email
Tactic used

I'd be happy to compile a master list for dissemination once updated.

Bob

Oh.. when scanning through the archives.. I noticed that 407-479-3671 is the fax number for BOTH NotaryBeware.com ... *AND* Deadbeat Notaries.com
(must be playing both sides of the fence)

Good observation, Bob. I seem to recall this fact being brought up many years ago.

As far as a list of deadbeats, for years there have been multiple "no-no" lists circulated. The problem now is, so many yes-yes companies are turning into no-no companies because they were not prepared to weather the storm of the mortgage meltdown.

I would suggest that you keep you own list, based on your own criteria and search this forum often for updates. If you would like to share you work, I'm sure the new folks would be grateful.

Good luck!

Thanks Becca.. (I think I came upon that gem at 3am and thought I was onto something!)

Yes, I've got a list that is about 98 strong. And yes I agree that more and more of the YES's are now NO's... but it's the same scumbags that are moving from company to company playing a shell game. I for one won't work for anyone who didn't pay me, bankrupted a company then opened under a new name.

Keep your own list.. watch NotaryBeware.. but I'm trying to IDENTIFY the Dean Keith's, Jamie Jessup' and Melanie Gordon's of the world!

Add Jessup's former employee and protege to your list Mary Annette DeAngelo, A/K/A M. A. DeAngelo, A/K/A Annette DeAngelo.

Did you mean "Keith Dean" instead of Dean Keith? Keith Dean shut down United Notaries owing many people money (me Included). He is now listed here as as premier member--Dean Notaries. search with 80112 zip.

The last time I was on notary beware, there weren't even any comments more recent than 8 months on any of the companies, but that is probably due to the fact that the site was down for most of the year.
