Slow payment on CW closings from reliable clients?
Wonder if any of you are getting slow payment for Countrywide closings from companies from whom you have NOT had payments issues previously? LandAmerica OneStop is usually quite prompt with payments (though not high pay by any stretch), but I am experiencing slow payment on a Countrywide closing for them.....AND the accounting person is not returning my calls.

Did a CW closing on 12-15-7 and check was in my mailbox on 1-21-8, I had made one phone call, and followed that with another invoice. They may be a little slow but I will still work for them again. Met my fee.

They seem to be having problems getting things logged into the computer properly. I rarely do signings for them anymore, but it seems like about half of the ones I've done over the past 6 months don't get marked as closed in the computer, so payment isn't sent.
Don't call the accounting person, just call the regular service line. To their credit, every time I have had to call and get something corrected (which has been too many times) they at least get it corrected and sent out right away.
