Speedy Closings
I know there has been a lot of talk in the past regarding slow payments from Speedy Closings. However, I would like to start off 2008 by stating that Frank has always been fair to me, he does pay late but he pays. Maybe he was let down by a few of his customers, who knows! I do not feel he has taken advantage of me,he has always paid what I asked. At one point late last year he called me to say he was sorry his payments were late but promised I would be paid if I would just hang in there with him. I did, he paid........I will work for this company in the future and expect no problems.

Hello PartikgirlNJ, I have to agree with you, never had a problem with Speed. And I don't think it is because we are from Jersey. I have always been paid. Never shorted. Never had to call numerous times, etc, etc. By the way how is business in your area?

"Frank has always been fair to me, he does pay late but he pays."
Eventually paying you is not being fair to you. Paying you in a timely manner is being fair to you.
In addition to being a slooooooow payer, Frank has the nasty habit of telling people who turn down his signings that he's basically going to blackball them from doing work for a bunch of other companies as well.
The guy is a scumbag.

WEll, to each, their own ....
I personally have better things to do than wait 60-90 days to get paid and making phone calls and sending letters in regards to payment.
If you were holding the paper on a loan and the person was late all the time (and getting later as time went on) would this not set off warning bells? Why is it any different while waiting for payment. If you had a salaried job, would you wait that long to get paid, or go looking for another job?
We have read progressively about it time and time again. "Company x is paying late, I had to call company x several time, I took company x to court, Company x is out of business, why didn't someone tell me?" The warning signals are almost always there.
Well here is a warning signal. Of course, it't up to you if you want to heed it or not. Just don't expect sympathy from this quarter if you get stuck..

Re: WEll, to each, their own ....
I just did a signing for them on 12/31. They assured me I'd be paid by the end and Jan. I'll let you know...BTW, I've never dealt with Frank but Mat has been great to work with.

Another to each their own
I have worked for them over the years and I have not had a payment issue with them.

Ok my turn, Yes Frank has paid me according to our agreement. Do I think because I am in NJ that he will pay me quickly and on "my" terms HECK YEAH. It is so much easier for me to collect my money or press criminal charges being in the same state.
I see all the horror stories from notaries outside of NJ and I am sorry you guys need to wait so long or no pay.
I avg about 4-5 year from them

My experience (only 1)
When I was asked to do a closing for them I expressed my concern re: what was posted here. They agreed to have my placed on HUD & I was paid within 5 days after closing. Ok for me but it was only 1 experience, take it for what its worth.
